I had the pleasure of contributing a song to this compilation album released by lo-fi punk rockers Frick. The album features covers of Frick songs by artists in a wide range of genres. The classic punk riffs and absurd lyrics of their track “Brains” immediately grabbed my attention. My take on “Brains” went through a few iterations before landing on the more “electronic rock” side of the SuperScience sound.

This is a great compilation. It’s a collection of my favorite kind of cover songs. Covers that serve as more reinterpretations than straight covers and each track brings something so unexpected and fresh.
